Podutainment is a "portmanteau neologism" which means it is a new use of a word made up of three other regular words. PODUTAINMENT refers to the delivery of material, frequently text/audio, to portable devices that is both educational and entertaining. You can also think of it as "edutainment" for the 21st century!

On my way to work this morning I had a great idea! In my spare time, I came up with 50 ideas that people could use to create their own “podcast.” Some are funny. Some of them are serious. I offer them here for your podutainment.

For the past 35 years, I have enjoyed entertaining others by singing, playing, acting, directing and writing.
